In this campaign for Youth Theatre De Krakeling, we call for youngsters to practice ‘vriendjespolitiek’, the Dutch word for nepotism, which literally means ‘politics of pals’.
Although this word from the grown-up vocabulary has a clearly negative connotation, in the context of this campaign it means you get a discount if you invite your friends.
“Favor your friends. Every fourth ticket is now free at the Krakeling. Check www.vriendjespolitiek.nu”
Plain simple, I’d say.
